This starbucks location is fantastic. The staff are some of the friendliest I have encountered in the utah valley. My vanilla latte was actually made correctly, and tasted exactly the way it should. Inconsistency is a problem I have faced with starbucks very often. You can order the same drink 100 times, and it will taste different 75 out of the 100. Maybe it is just me. I had my usual - iced vanilla late and a breakfast sandwich. Both were brewed and cooked to perfection, and i'm not mad about it. Super clean tables, incredible staff, and I got my order within 5 minutes which is pretty impressive considering I was here pretty early in the morning during the caffeine rush. The drive-thru at this location is horrible - it is always backed up and a nightmare to get into. I wouldn't even bother. You can park, walk inside, order and get your food, all before 2 cars make it all the way through the drive-thru. Keep that in mind. Overall, a great location that I would highly recommend for your morning caffeine fix.

I tried a new frappucino here it was several types of cinnamon but it tasted like Chai which I like too! The parking area can be a bit cramped and busy so becareful. Does have a drive thru.

No bagels?!!!! What Starbucks doesn't have bagels for weeks? This one. RIDICULOUS! I love their bagels, and it's pretty sad that they are constantly running out. WTF! Get it together Starbucks!!!!!!!!

They do well with making drinks. The staff is pretty friendly. I like having the drive thru window: I only come here if I don't want to get out the car. I enjoy when Starbucks have more ample outdoor seating in the than what this location offers though.

This is one of my favorite Starbucks in all of Salt Lake City, for a few different reasons: 1) it's right off of I-15, super easy to get to as you exit at 6th South. 2) they have a drive thru 3) tons of indoor seating, which I can't say for many other Starbucks 4) it's never super busy because it's not within walking distance of much, other than a few hotels. I've visited this location more times than I can count, often just to run through the drive thru. I have however also come in, got my coffee to stay and sat in their over sized leather chairs more than a few times as well. The drinks are reliable, the coffee shop is spacious, and the staff is friendly. They are always pleasant to me when I come in, and they seem to get along with one another as well. As mentioned above, it never seems to be very busy here which means my order always comes out quick. I'd spend a lot more time here if I still lived in SLC.

I love coffee and starbucks is my go to coffee shop simply because they are everywhere, have decent coffee, and offer a fairly good rewards program. However not all starbucks are created equally. I feel like this location can be hit of miss. There have been a number of times I've went and they've messed up my order and I'm back at the office before I realize it (another down fall of all starbucks is that their coffee is way too hot). And while I love the option of a drive thru I think it also tends to screw with the order in which baristas make the drinks. There has been more than one occasion where I'm the only customer in the store and yet it takes an unusually long time to get me my drink while I watched 5+ drinks go out to the drive thru. Overall though it's a good place to grab a cup of coffee. The staff there is nice, the location right off the freeway is great and the facilities are clean.

Wow! I feel weird about giving a Starbucks a 5 star review but this location was one of the best I've been to in years. The service was always fast and with a smile. Even with a few other customers there the drinks were ready in a flash. Paige helped us the three days we were there last week. She should be a trainer for hospitality. After we came the first time she knew the drink orders of all my friends (I didn't order coffee), and would be handing them out almost as soon as the orders were placed. I was stoked to see Starbucks selling bananas ($1). That makes for a nice breakfast addition.

Ok, so I had to take someone to the airport really early this morning and came to downtown to grab a coffee. I went a little out of my way for this place because I know they have a good selection of chairs. But I learned something new today. Apparently if you spend $2 on a regular cup of coffee you can get a regular coffee refill free! But if you spend $5 on an Espresso drink, no free refills of "Regular Coffee". Over the 10 years I've been a customers I've never been denied. It makes more sense if I spent 2 1/2 x as much I'd deserve one, but I guess not. Although, he was nice enough to "Let me have it this time". Also, the super comfy chairs upfront only have 1 plug for 4 chairs. Other than these two things I could have given a much better review

I love this Starbucks, I definitely can't say that about all of them. They are fast and friendly and the baristas there actually know what they are doing and make awesome drinks!! I like the location and they have a drive thru. Best pumpkin spice latte of my life!

Friendly staff, prompt service, and pretty much your standard Starbucks experience. I like this one due to the proximity to the Hilton Garden Inn where I usually stay for my work trips.

This is a great Starbucks, conveniently located just beware it's on a one way and don't make a right when you leave! Love the staff!

Slowest Starbucks ever. They need more staff on the weekends? They're trying, but just can't keep. Gives me time to write this review while waiting. Really nice staff, just flustered and overwhelmed. I saw two drinks have to be re-done just while I waited for mine. I was glad I asked for a receipt, because they forgot to make my breakfast sandwiches. An extra employee or two would help.

Starbucks is, you know, fine. But the staff here is friendly, the coffee is good (well, Starbucks good), and they have a drive-through that can get you the fanciest coffee drink possible within just a few minutes.

A new store, but take heed, the staff isn't quite as great as you'd normally encounter at Starbucks. The drive-through takes as long as it does to go inside, and be prepared to take a lot of extra time if you visit this store. My drink order took over 11 minutes. And the staff didn't seem to think there was much of a problem with that. I didn't complain, but there was a clear lack of a sense of urgency with everyone (except maybe the guy running the drive through). I'm wiling to bet as the store is open longer, they'll get the process down a little bit more. Try again in 3 months?

Ugh, ew. Thank GOODNESS I don't live in Utah. I was just here on a road trip with my cousin, and her boyfriend/my friend. We stopped by here to get some morning coffee before we headed back to California. I swear, I ordered my "Double Chocolate Frap" as usual, and they made it like CRAP! It tasted all watery and stuff, blah! They probably did it on purpose too, cause I'm not mormon. Shocking, I know.. aha. Anyways, I will never return here, let alone return to Utah at all! Hated it!!!

I don't usually patronize Starbucks because of the price but as a traveler passing through Salt Lake in mid-August. I was pleasantly surprised of the service and quality of this establishment. It was the middle of the breakfast rush and we got two breakfast sandwiches and coffee. We got our food in a short amount of time. It was a steady pace of customers eating inside and a flurry of cars going through the drive through. The staff seemed to balance both well. I did overhear the supervisor say that they mixed up orders and he was not upset but seemed to want to build off the experience and stay positive. They were courteous and it was a pleasant environment to eat in and read the morning paper despite the hectic rush of caffiene cravers. I don't go to Starbucks often but when I do I hope they are similar to this one. Quite a bang for my buck. The only drawback here was the restroom which was a little dirty due to the traffic and limited parking in this bustling intersection on the city line of Salt Lake and South Salt Lake surrounded by other businesses in close proximity. Otherwise it was a great travel stop.

Typically nice n friendly Starbucks. The only thing that bumps this one down a notch is their thrashed restroom. It was absolutely disgusting!

This is your basic Starbucks: an outpost of caffeination situated on the concrete edge of a strip mall. The interior has the usual decor; a mix of dark colors and deep green with the usual selection of pastries and drinks. It is a chain afterall. But this location does have some high points: a drive thru which appears to move quickly and a spacious interior. Notably, there are seats in the back which have a number of easy access outlets. These can be used to charge your iPod, as I did, if you suddenly realized that you forgot to do so in your hotel room.

I was headed east and had a really really long drive ahead of me, so of course coffee would help! Luckily I stayed right across the street at the ever so wonderful Super 8 Motel. Nice diggs. NOT! Anyways... I stopped off here and proceeded to the drive-thru. Ordered a large vanilla latte with an extra shot, warm (tepid). Pulled up to the window, the lady who greeted me looked like hell run over. Her pupils were pinpoints (and we all know what that might mean) and she was a little shaky. She was too busy asking me about where I'm going (since she saw the CA license plate) and not busy enough trying to get my order to me. Drove off and took a sip of my drink. Burned the living hell out of my mouth. Mistake #1: They did not make it warm. It almost seemed extra hot. I had to let it sit there for a good 30mins or more to cool off. Finally when I was able to take a drink I realized mistake #2: No vanilla syrup. So it was EXTRA bitter due to the extra shot of espresso. Needless to say, this was NOT a good start to my really long drive.

Starbucks fills a need. It's nothing wonderful, nothing terrible. The coffee and food are the same as any other location. I feel compelled to write a review of this specific Starbucks, however, because it seems to be so poorly run. The service is generally marginal, if not worse.
